COCKTAIL No2, “Mediterranean Straße”

      “Mediterranean Straße”                 

I tried to combine two  civilizations/cultures, all in one cocktail. So, I borrowed Mediterranean flavors such us: sun-dried tomatoes, oregano and fresh lemon juice. All these ingredients bind together with mastiha liqueur and create a unique new flavor.Muddle the first three ingredients in the bottom of the shaker. After that add the mastiha liqueur and shake for 5 seconds. Double strain in a flute glass (champagne). Then top up the glass with “German tradition”, which for example is: draught beer! As garnish use: fresh caper and sun-dried tomatoes slices all together put in a stick.Mediterranean Straße” ingredients are:

·       Two sun-dried tomatoes

·       One bar spoon of oregano

·       25 ml of fresh lemon juice

·       60 ml of mastiha liqueur

·       20 ml draught beer

·       2 beens of fresh caper
